★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner is very friendly. They recently renovated the facilities so the kitchen is well equipped wit multiple fridges and sink and cook tops. The bathrooms are spacious and clean. Hot showers (no showers after 10pm). The animals are a tourist attraction. Some parts of the animal park needs a lot of maintenance but fortunately I think funding is tight! At least 8 non powered sites

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The loveliest place for miles around! There's ducks, pigs, donkeys, horses, llamas, an emu, peacocks, and all sorts of amazing birds! The camping is very quiet and has all the facilities you need. The lady here will tell you all about the birds and you can feed the animals if you want (they sell animal food). Most of the birds are rescued too, so come here and support a good cause!

Facilities are great. Clean kitchen. Shower and bathroom.
Phone signal is very low and hard to be online.
Personally not fan of caged animal but the free friendly roaming peacocks. Ducks. Piglets are nice
Few cabins are available to rent or setting up your own tent at site

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Camped here in the cabins over Easter break with friends, such a great stay in beautiful location with an abundance of wildlife not only birds, also Alpacas, Donkeys, Goats, Horses. Lovely friendly hosts Gaye & Fred and not too far away from Whitianga central. Great shared amenities such as the huge kitchen and wonderfully strong hot showers - will definitely revisit en masse again. Thank you VERY much!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was sadly disappointed, maybe because we went during the week or after school holidays, maybe covid has affected it, but we experienced nothing that was advertised on website, no birds were out on display to interact with, the birds in the aviary you can enter were not interested in coming anywhere near us to feed them, the mini golf wasn't running, the bunny's run away from you, can't even pet them. The was also no cafe.
Upsides, most the parrots are friendly and will say hello to you, the small goats can escape the enclosure and are super cute and friendly, as was the lama.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If u are traveling with kids this is one place u don’t want to miss. It’s wonderful wonderful place where u easily ends up spending 3/4 hours. This huge place is managed by a couple and they are delight to talk to. They have a good collection of birds and animals. Their little train ride is definitely what kids want. We did three rides there. They have small sitting near play area where u can have ur own snacks. U get to feed the animals as well. definitely worth the money ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such an amazing experience to do if ever around the area☺️☺️☺️there was so much to see and do so worth your time!!! Me and my partner took our time and the service was great from the manager of this place ???The animals were so beautiful and taken well care of I couldn't have asked for anything more ❣️cannot wait to bring the kids here?such a adventurous environment cannot wait to come back ?
