★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A well maintained playing field, used for exercising dogs, football practice on summer evenings, flying small radio controlled model aeroplanes, weekend sport. No golf though.
It is the site of the Howick Croquet Club.

Sat 27 th June 2020 after some rain. The water level increased by about 600mm in about half an hour, stopped us walking through the tunnel on the way back.
