I recently completed the hypnobirthing course with Bec. It has totally taken my fears away from giving birth and changed my mindset. Bec is very easy to listen to and get along with! We loved every class especially the relaxation techniques with Bec! I Would highly recommend this course for any mummies to be! ?? thank you Bec ??

My husband and I are expecting our first child and have just completed our course with Bec’s. Mindful Mummas Hypnobirthing was recommended to us by a friend and I’am go glad we had the opportunity to join Bec’s class. Hypnobirthing has given us an excellent understanding in how the birthing body works, giving us knowledge and techniques that we can practice and use to help achieve the calm and natural birth that we are hoping for. I really liked the way the classes were presented and interactive. There was always time for deeper discussions and Bec’s was very helpful in answering any questions we had and preparing extra material if we needed more help. I feel empowered and united with my husband after attending the course. Thanks again! Karla and Lee

I am so glad that my husband and I took the time to attend Hypnobirthing course run by the beautiful Rebecca in Christchurch. She is an amazing trainer and beautiful person inside out. We spend few hours a day from week 32 preparing our minds for the beautiful birthing experience of our girl. We cannot thank you enough Bec xx This course empowered me when I was struggling to keep my mind positive. I wish all woman to know these Hypnobirthing techniques, so they all know of their options/choices in calmly and beautifully birthing their baby

MamaCare Postpartum workshop I attended the workshop Bec held in late June 2021. As a practising mental health nurse, I have seen first hand the devastating impact lack of self care can have on mothers (new mums and those further along the motherhood journey). I think there is a lot of emphasis on educating yourself for the birth of your baby, however a gaping hole exists for women after their babies are earth side. This is despite the knowledge of the extreme hormonal changes, isolation of mums, postpartum depression risks and the soul destroying rate of maternal suicide in New Zealand. Bec has recognised this gap, and is selflessly trying to share her pragmatic and science based approaches to all women and their whanau. What a gift to our community. I was deeply impressed by Bec’s innate ability to make every woman in the room feel comfortable enough to be their authentic selves; this is because of Bec’s immediate warmth and her obvious passion for women’s health. We practised multiple useful breathwork and mindfulness techniques in the room together under Bec’s guidance, allowing for the beginning of muscle memory and were provided a plethora of material via email after our session to continue to the practises as home. Bec made it extremely clear when to use the different resources under different stressful circumstances that can arise, which I found so helpful. What a rare experience to be given a straight forward pragmatic approach that will allow you to rapidly drop into a state of deep calm, that you’ve already started to build into your mind! Bec’s authenticity allowed every woman in the room to feel a sense of connection, and everyone was able to voice their fears, speak openly about their experiences and ask deeply personal questions about the path that lay ahead of them. Bec shared herself completely with us, which allowed us all to do the same. I left that morning feeling confident with a toolkit of useful, straight forward approaches that made complete sense (and a handy email reminding me of everything we had covered that morning!) Bec is going to revolutionise the postpartum experience for those who attend her workshops. And what an incredible woman that she shares these via accessible koha events so every woman has a chance to build a toolkit to manage the extremes of the post partum period. Grab another mum/mum to be/ anyone who needs to know how to calm their nervous system and get to Bec’s sessions! I will be organising a 1:1 with Bec as I feel I want to saturate myself in her knowledge so I can enter into motherhood as a resilient, well resourced, CALM mama!

My partner and I attended the course that Bec runs out of curiosity, knowledge gain and to learn a different way of thinking. Out of the 5 weeks, 2 were done via Zoom as Lockdown was in place but that was honestly no problem! We both highly rate this course as beneficial to anyone seeking a simple birth, new skills or a different approach to something that is so natural. Bec made this course welcoming for us first timers and no question seemed to curly for her. Highly recommend as we will most likely do her HypnoMothering course once baby is here.

My sessions with Rebecca were absolutely invaluable. I wish every mum had access to what she has to offer. She gave me so many incredible tools both for the birth and postpartum and left me feeling really empowered. I'm so so grateful and highly recommend :)
