Back in 2020 My car was serviced via State and AMI insurance through these guys twice. Customer service by the receptionist was terrible and unprofessional. Also They could not stick to their timings, dragging the repair of my Toyota 86. When Finally got my car back. Paint job was terrible and messy and seemed rushed! Also gave me a 2001 Toyota Camry for a courtesy car is this a joke??? I have complained to my insurance company but they said to give them another chance but Iβd rather just do it on my own! Terrible customer service and job!

β β β β β I had a minor accident which required replacement of the car door in May 2021. Contacted Trade Me insurance and took the car in for assessment. Pictures were taken and I was told to wait for the apt via a phone call. In November, 2021 I started following up with MJ Breen however they kept on taking my messages saying someone will call back. This happened 12 times. Finally, I contacted Trade Me Insurance, very upset at no communication only to be told that I need to be patient. The rep then called MJ Breen who then said bring in the car on following Monday. It took 2 weeks for the door to be replaced. Loan car was too old to drive. Repairs were up to the expectation however MJ Breen seriously lacks customer service. Unless, you have all the time in the world to wait, donβt use their services as it will be just frustrating as mine was. I only went to them as I wanted to support a local business and learnt my lesson!

β β β β β Friendly ppl, great communication, my car was painted with in the time frame. Loan car service was good. I read the reviews and honestly dont understand why ppl discriminate so much of the efforts they do to repair your cars, grow up ppl things do take time.

β β β β β Good stuff, it's car repairs and they do it right. If there's ever anything I would need to know during the process they tell me, nothing bad I can say about the shop.
It's just so sad that these guys get blamed for silly stuff, you crashed your car, and now you expect the world? Then your not happy with the insurance company so you blame the panelbeaters and now you lack patience, don't drive if u can't handle crashing and waiting for repairs. So sad. Grow up lads, can't just expect yourself to be the most important person with the most important car. Trust in the services and process.
They do their job as expected and are real good, have a loyal customer base too, been around for a hell of a long time too, that's saying something.

β β β β β Went back a forth for the same thing.. Guy there looked upset when i would bring vehicle in for something that was their falt... For months had elect fault cause they didn't reconnect my electronics properly. Be careful they may give your vehicle to some else the panel as they did mine.. Will not be going back. Use to be good when the old man was there but not anymore..
You gave my car to a panel shop nx door to yours.. Totally seperate business

β β β β β If you want to make multiple trips and want half work done, this is the place for you. On initial conversation a pakeha lady (sorry forgot name) kindly agreed that theyβd look into the error code that started to appear on dash right after accident which was notified them a couple of times to their assessor, indian admin lady (sorry forgot name) while dropping, by email and while collecting vehicle but it wasnβt actioned.
They need to work on their quality check process of completed panel work, as they were almost giving the repaired bumper with noticeable lumps on each side. Upon notifying them they fixed it within a day and provided a courtesy car throughout the full repair period, 2 stars thanks for that.
They did selective listening and did half job (missed electrical scan as previously told them) and almost gave a non QC defective work (lumpy paint job). Iβd not recommend MJ Breen.

β β β β β Team is excellent. They kept me updated all the times thru repairs. Estimator there is extremely knowledge.
And all the other team members know their jobs perfectly. My car came back as there was no dents ever.
