Mobil Tahunanui - Tāhunanui

Today, I decided to go to Mobil Tahunanui to fuel up my car. I always go there even though its a little bit out of my way because I just happen to like it there. I went to pump 6 and the pump wouldn't work because apparently it was acting up due to a previous transaction. I decided to hang the pump back in and jump to the other pump ahead. Just then this lady with pink hair highlights walked up to me and tried to "do her job". It was pretty obvious she doesn't know what was happening. I gave her the receipt that came out from that pump and she was saying "this and that". I told her to check the time of the receipt because obviously it was from earlier in the day. For some reason she stated yelling at me. I've never ever had any bad experience with any gas station-ever like this. When I drove to the pump ahead to refuel my car, there she is again. It's like she was thinking I don't know what I was doing or I was stupid when in fact, I have been refueling my car several times and never had any problems. If you think about it, the problem was pretty small but it was just her behaviour. She then kept on saying that she was being yelled at inside. I told her "Never mind" even though I already put in my card details and she just abruptly said "Good!". I was getting angry and decided to park my car and walk inside. Just then this man came out. Such a sweet guy. He tried to defuse the situation telling me that she was just having a bad day and he started to refuel my gas. It was obvious nothing was wrong with the current pump. Just because the staff is having a bad day does not mean she can treat people like this, especially since I am a paying customer let alone a loyal one, always refueling to Mobil where ever I go due to the reasonable price and good service it offers. I hope Management would give proper training to their staff. Just because the staff are a little bit elderly does not give them the right to display such behaviour to customers as it can be humiliating and can ruin the experience or reputation of the company.

Don't stop in often unless heading to town, ifI do stop in the staff are always cheerful which is good to see, never had any issues when I've stopped here. Great if you hungry to as MacDonalds is right next door... VERY CONVENIENT..

Always a spot to fill up and quick staff.. too easy ? the air compressor is a bit weak though.

Pretty good, just your usual. However has great pies and number 1 stop before i head out of Nelson early morning

Only servo to require pre pay, if i wanted pre pay id go to the self service and save some money. This isnt the USA
