★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have never felt so uncomfortable on a place like I felt at this funeral company while waiting for my FIL to be prepared; racist place, all the staff, looking at you over their shoulders like if you’re less person than them just because of ethnicity. The receptionist even took the Mentos away because we helped ourselves….Mentos!
We were never given a family room, just a small office and of course we were charged for the family room, they also tried to charged us for a more expensive coffin-luckily one of the aunties had taken a pic - they threaten to bring the police and take coffin away, tried to charge for dressing the him when they didn’t, but overall a very racist, ugly environment to be in, the last thing you need when you’re mourning…

The manager called me names 1 day after the death of my father when trying to give feedback about making the way they do things more sensitive for families as we sat for over an hour mostly in awkward silence waiting to see my dads body whilst a staff member wrote previously gained information down.

They exceeded my expectations throughout our darkess hours.
