★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked in was there for 5 mins before anyone would come out.. bikes were dusty and dirty the guy was like pulling teeth to talk to, unhelpful, maybe doesn’t enjoy his job or business, I can see why he has had so many poor reviews.. the place looks down trodden too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, lots of 1 star reviews. All in 1 day.... almost seams like the 'be kind' is rubbish. You dont have to agree. But, you also dont have to destroy someones business. Did i give a 1 star rating for how thus this govt is handling their power? .... I would if I could. But, that would be from evidence. Not from a heap of 12 year olds who can never afford to but a motorbike anyway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After seeing this guy in the news today for sticking up offensive posters, it reminded of my dealings with this guy years ago. I bought a motorbike, 2nd hand but only about 2 years old at the time and had nothing but trouble, it kept just cutting out while riding and he failed several times to fix the issue. He then told me that I was bringing it back too often so I had to pay for the next repair, like he was doing me some sort of favour, despite the fact that his dodgy repairs left me stranded several times in awkward places, pushing the bike home. I ended up contacting Consumer NZ who ran a story on him and his dodgy dealings and the bike ended up getting fixed. The issue in the end? A vacuum hose was too short, it was a manufacturing fault and a $5 fix, but this guy made it such a hassle

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always great service at MID. I have bought four bikes from Costa over the years and everytime it has been an easy,friendly transaction. No problem. Im not sure about all the negative comments as I get along fine with Costa and totally enjoy shopping at MID. If your after a low kay,great condition bike,especially a ducati,then check out MID

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately the guy selling wasn't the greatest to deal with so walked out pretty quickly. Told me "test drive is the last step in the process of buying a motorcycle" which Seems a bit outrageous. Seems immature with some of the replies he is putting out here. Will not go there again even though I love some of the bikes they have.
