★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In a nice sunny day. This would be a lovely experience. A nice walk sport. I was afraid my kids may get tired with all this climb. But the enjoyed it so much. Just make sure the weather is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing 360 degree view. Can see all of Wellington and all surrounding towns on a clear day. Definitely worth the trip. Not very mountain bike accessible which I wish I knew before riding all the way out here from Wellington City.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best mast i have every visited- actually only mast i have ever visited but as masts go it had everything you need in a mast. Unless you are on a ship - this mast would not be great due to this i am removing a star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a steep climb up the stairs but we felt elated to reach the top. I was told later we took the more difficult route and should have taken the easier path behind the pool. We did go back via the pool and had a great coffee and hot kumera chips to help us revive before heading back to the car.
