β β β β β Joey is a delighted boy today. Joey walked by me this morning with a big smile on his face and told me that he was so happy that he had his junior black belt!!
Yesterday while he was doing his grading, I remembered the small boy who started Taekwondo two years ago, a boy that then struggled with self-confidence. Remembering that he had to be taken by hand onto the matt, how he would so gently kick and punch the pads, that he was too embarrassed to make a sound when he did any kicks and punches, would sit back and watch the others go first, and would need encouragement when his turn came.
Taekwondo has had a genuinely positive impact on Joey, now he has found his self and social confidence, while importantly, he has retained and grown in his kindness. Taekwondo is far more than a physical sport!
Eisa Mozhdeh, Stella and the team at Mozhdeh Martial Arts - NZ are fantastic!!

β β β β β 100% can recommend Mozhdeh Martial Arts. Eisa and Stella are highly trained themselves and they know how to get the best out of each student.
They also have a great team of assistant coaches who help students to develop their skills and step in where needed.

β β β β β Excellent operation. Coaches Eisa and Stella are top shelf - so good with the kids and teach them lots about the art and culture of Takekwondo. The town is lucky to have such quality here - highly recommend.

β β β β β We have completed another year at MMA. Both children have loved every training session and we could not ask for better coaches. The patience and enthusiasm they have with the children is amazing. It is through Eisa and Stella's hard work and never giving up on any child that our children are gaining confidence and abilities to be able to move to their next belt levels. They have given our children skills that will guide them through life's challenges.

The coaches are amazing role models for the Children. The classes are run to a high standard full of fun, fitness, discipline, team building as well as achieving personal/ individual goals. Thank you Eisa, Stella and the rest of the team.

β β β β β My three boys and I participate in Taekwondo training with Coaches Eisa and Stella, as well as the other amazing instructors, at Mozhdeh Martial Arts NZ. Our whΔnau has many neurodiversities including severe ADHD, Anxiety, Sensory Processing difficulties as well as the possibility of ASD. This team of incredible human beings have always ensured that each of us are included, supported, encouraged and challenged to do our best/if not better. They are patient, caring, kind, genuine and build positive/meaningful relationships with all. It has been such an inspiring experience to find an activity that all my children and I are able to participate in and enjoy. We look forward to continuing this year. Highly recommended to all.

β β β β β My grandson has been with the club for 2 years, since he was a shy 6 year old, he quickly became part of the MMA family, thanks to the amazing attitude and nurturing approach of Eisa and Stella.
They teach the art of Taekwondo in a way that makes all the children feel welcome, relaxed, involved and special.
Parents and carers are encouraged to watch the sessions and are welcomed as part of the wider MMA family.
