For over five years now New Oriental Market has been producing house-made tofu right in the center of Tauranga. We service the Bay of Plenty with our local products including our many varieties of Tofu, Noodles, Dumplings and Wontons. We think we may just be the best in the Bay when it comes to Tofu.

β β β β β My son and I ate food here today, we ordered beef sizzling dish $27 and dumplings $22.
The hot plate was very small size and did not come with rice. Very unhappy with dish and then on top of that the manager has a mental at me for questioning the size. She grabbed another menu and said our food is high stand, blah, blah...
My sons drink came at end of meal, she was unprofessional and I have eaten at many places and this is bad food and service. The manager never apologised and sent out the waitress to say sorry. We will never eat in Tauranga again.
Our water was in paper cup, plates were cup sized camping plates. They wiped the tables with dettol and the whole place smells like it.

β β β β β Love the owners they are fantastic and accommodating they played some bts and got7 for us while we waited for our food. The food is spectacular and just up my alley for spice even my son loved all the food, Will be back because of the yummy food and great service.

β β β β β The kimchi fries and dumplings here are amazing! The other food Iβve tried has also been pretty good. Itβs not the cheapest place so itβs always best to go at lunch time when they have lunch discounts. The food tastes fresh and the staff are very nice.

β β β β β This place will be my new go to in Tauranga. Amazing selection of meat, vegetarian and vegan options. The food is exceptional - all made from scratch including the tofu and soup broths, free range, no msg or other nasties. I had the Wonton Noodle Soup (Chicken) and hands down it was the best Wonton Soup I have ever had. The broth was sensational, fresh vegetables, silky wontons and a good portion of chicken. I went with 4 other friends who all had different options both vegan and meat and nobody could fault their meals. The service was fantastic. I will be back here for both takeaways and bring friends from out of town to my new favourite noodle joint.

β β β β β Great food. Good portion size. Food is made with love and you can taste it. They don't allow pictures of the venue, but rest assured, it's very clean and pleasant to dine in. Average pricing and decent portion sizes. Premises are clean and looked after. Fast and friendly service. Good place for Korean food.
