M.R Andrews Ltd is a local family-owned and operated agricultural contracting business located on Waitara Road in New Plymouth, contracting to the rural sector all over Taranaki.
Since opening in 2008, this bustling family business has continued to thrive, offering a multitude of services, using only the latest equipment. From a dairy farming background ourselves, we understand that farming is so demanding and the windows are short with harvesting, that is why these days, more and more farmers are relying on us to do the job. It’s more economical for them to hire us than worry about owning and maintaining the machinery.
“We have new machinery with better technology so the end product is far superior to that of older equipment. We also have new balers. We can now bale silage an extra 100 kilograms heavier each bale, making them far more cost effective. Plus, the team have a very strict system of maintenance on their machinery, which is vital.
We offer a full range of on farm services, including maize silage, hay & silage baling, pit silage, cultivation and harvesting, GPS equipped, fertiliser application, effluent pond cleaning, general & stockfeed cartage, etc. We also produce and supply woodchip for herd homes, animal shelters and calf bedding. You name it, we do it.
We pride ourselves on doing a top quality job and will always go the extra mile for our clients.
