Palmerston North Neighbourhood Support is a community-focused charity that aims to help residents make the homes, streets, neighbourhoods and communities of Palmerston North safer and more caring places to live in. We work in partnership with Palmerston North Police, Civil Defence, New Zealand Fire Service and Palmerston North City Council (PNCC).
There is no cost for joining our network of neighbours (or for staying with us) and you have the assurance of being part of a network that has over 10,500 (local) households that are registered with us.
The benefits of joining Neighbourhood Support include getting to know your neighbours; receiving regular, accurate crime information via email; free information about crime prevention and disaster preparedness; confidence that your neighbours are keeping an eye out for you and your group members; and an opportunity to be involved in your local community.
