★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Run by the McDonald’s, lovely people! They take their time explaining seasons for their lavender, including harvesting etc. I learned here that there are over 127 varieties of lavender. These guys have oil, soap, candles made out of their lavender. Fine folk of New Zealand’s Hawkes Bay showcasing fine lavender of our country! Do give them a visit, best time to visit December to Feb as that’s when the crop is at its prime. Makes for nice photos for the family, you can then go visit the chocolate factory afterwards! Enjoy!
