β β β β β Thank you for taking care of me all the way through my pregnancy, through labour and the postpartum period. I was given helpful advice, the ladies were available 24/7 via phone and they ensured that myself and baby were healthy and safe. Had an amazing birth experience with Kim Billaney, who I was fortunate to have deliver my second child. My whΔnau and I could not be more thankful for all the ladies at New Beginnings. NgΔ Mihi!

β β β β β First pregnancy, no friends or family in NZ.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. The first lady gave prescribe me a wrong test, the second one hadn't read my file before our appointment so she didn't know what have been done or not, the third one called us on a Saturday morning that our baby may have Down Syndrome but that we cannot do any further test until the next Monday (enjoy your weekend), and on the Monday, she had forgotten to send the referral for the scan. I also learnt that they screw up the date for one of my blood test for DS and have to do it again (so have to wait even longer to know of DS or no). I finally change for the midwifery in the hospital.
It is very hard to have them over the phone, you cannot let voicemail, you cannot send text, sometimes, I had to wait few days before being able to get them. Lack of information, lack of experience and above all, lack of humanity when it comes to announce bad news.
