They say Rome wasn’t built in a day, and this new website won’t be either—but in the meantime we welcome you to the important stuff:
- We are a friendly bunch of folk who meet weekly at 603 Williams Street, Mahora, Hastings—except for when the nation’s in a Level 4 Quarantine, which doesn’t happen a lot.
- Sunday services are at 10am. There’s coffee. Plunger coffee; not the powdery instant stuff that tastes like a bad decision.
- Our seating arrangements may not look like what you’re used to, in a church. We believe building supportive and encouraging relationships with each other is important, and that seats aligned in rows with military precision wouldn’t be conducive to that value—so instead, ours are in small groups around tables. Tables that are very good at holding the coffee you prepared earlier. It’s also just as easy to hear the service with the seats in this arrangement, too. So, win-win.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By all means if you have a chance to I would suggest that you come down and enjoy the Fellowship of New Hope Church myself I have only just started in the last 3 months and I'm already feeling their amazing effects they going to church holds for you as an individual and as a Consolidated family even though that may be an extended one you can't choose your actual family but you can choose the family that you would like to be in and friends that you would like to surround yourself with this is in my opinion the best tried that I have ever been associated with even though today's society it is not a tribal thing any more apart from your own family unit and in the day and age of covid-19 it is somewhere that I appreciate going to at least once a week and enjoy sing and bring with my new found brothers and sisters God is with us all you may not know it yourself you will be feeling his hand at stages in your life like I have this place New Hope is exactly what it states
