Wet day during Covid, and needed a coffee with a pie whilst at work, first time trying it, and the steak and cheese pie was just perfect, from pastry to the meat and gravy, it's easy on the cheese which suited me best, there long black coffee was also good, not ridiculously bitter as some may like it, but hit the spot, cheers guys, look forward to being out that way again, from a truck drivers taste!

Shout out to Newdays Espresso who made a delicious Breakfast for two as takeaway! ?? Ultimate breakfast, Eggs Bene & The frappe was amazing! Highly recommend! Great service! Great for when you have to be home but can quickly pick it up.

Returned here after 4.5 years away. Nice, friendly service as I remembered. Was about to choose the eggs bene meal when my darling alerted me to the steak meal ... ( lover of a good steak I am) so ordered that instead. Menu said "scoth steak" so just assumed it was a typo expecting a scotch steak to show up. She ordered the bene and I the steak- med rare. Result- Steak was a thin bit of schnitzel type meat cooked like there was no tomorrow. Eggs hard and dry. Eggs bene... same story. Hard eggs with a cpl burnt toast, with no butter...? I'm afraid friendly service only makes up so much of an experience while dining out, the rest is up to the cook... Cook needs to take more care if someone is paying for your service. Sorry but it's a no from us.

Dong (call him Ding Dong!) knows how to cook and can use the simplest ingredients to make a tasty dish. Newest addition to the menu is Paninis, Ham Cheese & Pepperoni and Chicken & Chorizo. Both are tasty for a not too big lunch

Friendly service and the food was good. Would be nicer if the cleaning was kept up better. When I asked for a straw I was given a used one for my coke, so I went without, and had to ask for the table to be wiped down. I think they should be wiped down between customers but most of the tables needed a clean and the cafe was empty when I arrived.
