Great shop. Great service. Brought car in for a few fixes and they instantly knew what the problem was and got us the best deal on a part to fix.

I needed new break pads so with Car Clinic right next door to VTNZ it was the easiest option. I was told the parts needed to be ordered in and that they would give me a call once they did. No call or attempt to inform me. I called them to ask as to how long and the lady on the phone laughed at me and told me to 'just bring it down we're waiting'. I was skeptical of the 1 and a half hours he said it would take so I timed them. 51 minutes an 49 seconds it took them. Upon completion I was then being asked to pay for 1.5hours of labour. So naturally I queried the charged amount and the gentleman, that I'm assuming was in charge, scoffed at me and belittled my query. Now I understand my questioning the difference of 38 minutes and 51 seconds may be seen as petty but as any human being I dont appreciate being treated in the manner that I was and I cant help but feel I was taken advanatge of.

I have a 1989 Mercedes 500 S class. It required a new ignition lock and the electrical comfort relay wasn't working. I watched the video of USA Pelican Motors and saw the huge drama if the ignition lock wasn't replaced in time. I procured a new lock and keys and made an appointment to have both items fixed. Barely before i had returned home after i had dropped it off, i had a call to say both items were fixed . Haindra the mechanic there is exceptionally good with Mercedes. Total bill $61..wow.

This specialist car service centre was recommended to me by an AA Vehicle inspector as the place that the local Mercedes Benz send their jobs to when they cannot find a solution in house. My experience would back that up. The diagnoses and subsequent repairs were all spot on. I have owned 75 cars in my life and so I am well versed in dealing with mechanics that know what they are on about and those that do not. The prices charges were all reasonable and I would call their service ''old fashioned'' and good natured which is refreshing in modern times. It is with interest that I read some negative reviews and it crossed my mind if those persons complaining find that they are often disappointed with many different service providers - if so I would then wonder if it is because of the only common denominator?

First stated the change of ignition coil will cost $28 (in the end went out $58). The price of the part was initially $190 (in the end found out it costs $220). Then added $15 parts delivery charge (which is 500 meters away from the place). In total, price changed from $220 to $295. Service should be improved.

Recommended by another mechanic. Friendly and professional. Saw three military vehicles being attended to even so perhaps some big wigs tend to store faith in a couple of the mechanics there too. Thanks and cheers??
