★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hulme Aluminum is the Best in the Business AAA+ always helpful from office to warehouse , the Owner Operators are a true asset to Auckland, New Zealand and Any Overseas installations , they did our joinery some years ago and the product is still in great condition , I have been in a few times to get a catch or hinge replaced and Phil and the team are always so helpful, If only EVERY NZ Company was this Good????

The fit was like a glove.

Extremely bad customer service. After requesting for a quote, the sales person told me he didn't work after hours or weekends. Ok. Arranged and agreed a time for him to come.
I stayed home from work that day, waiting for him. All I got was a text message saying he was late and not going to come at all. He did not communicate this before. I wouldn't have stayed home from work if I had known. Asked him then when he could come and got NO response.
In short..TERRIBLE customer service.

Two years ago I sent an email to #HulmeAluminiumJoineryLimited requesting a quote for a window frame needed due to some renovations that we were doing in a granny flat! Now in my quote I gave the basic information on dimensions and I was quote base on this! However, we arranged a time for them to come and take the right measures which were taken in the bathroom that we built in the granny flat. Now, two years later the building inspector comes and tells me that he is sorry but he can approve my consent because I needed a security glass in my bathroom! So my question to Hulme is why didn’t you tell me I needed this type of glass?
So I gave them a call, surely it was a mistake! Right? Well the answer is no, we can’t help you, this is what you quote for…..
However, one of your employees told me that it is a standard procedure to install security glass in bathrooms! Why if I was quoted for a normal glass did you fit an obscure glass in a bathroom YET IT IS NOT SECURED GLASS? Why if you have the technical knowledge that others (like me) don’t have you don’t provide them with the correct advice? I believe that most people go and do business trusting in the good faith of the companies and that sales people are in a position where they should inform clients the suitability of the products they are buying, particularly a secure glass which needs to be secured so that an accident doesn’t go terribly wrong! I don’t think this is just a BOLD request to obtain a resource consent!
So in my opinion the fact that you installed an obscure glass shows that you knew it was a bathroom, I believe that ethically you should replace it but you wont’ because is not written in the quote and I also believe it is my duty to show my experience with other potential buyers so that they are cautious when doing business with companies like yours!!
One start is too much!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very rude and arrogant entitled old man driving a company vehicle from this company was harassing and bullying a pregnant lady in the mitre 10 car park today after HE dinged her car!
He came across as very intimidating and unapologetic.
Apparanttly he is one of the owners or managers!
Avoid this company at all costs.

The measurements were done twice to be certain, and we had Andy and his team as our installers. They were so courteous, quick, tidy and vacuumed our entire house on completion. We are so happy with the end result. We highly recommend this company without hesitation.
