★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a real shame that this union is turning the teaching profession into a joke - we are only 5 weeks into the school year and the teachers are only teaching for two and a half days this week. They blackmailed the government into a massive pay increase last year but still have to stop work tomorrow afternoon to attend union meetings, followed by a teacher only day and mid term break (neither of which makes sense only 5 weeks after the long summer break).
