Gina Gatchell and her team have capably handled our complicated US taxes every year since.
Their personal professional approach has made a difficult process much smoother.
If I have any questions they respond quickly to address my issues.
I also feel like I am getting good value for my money.
I have no relationship with this company other than a professional one & make this review on my own initiative.

Preparation of my NZ return has always been timely and accurate, and Gina spares no effort to answer my sometimes gnarly questions and sort out my somewhat (to me) difficult tax affairs. Although I don't make use of NZ US Tax Specialists for my US return (I have a "legacy" preparer in the US) her knowledge of both jurisdictions is always very helpful in wrapping everything up at a reasonable cost and in a timeframe.

I also have appreciated how they have worked with me, our financial advisors and our NZ chartered accountants to bring together our tax information and do our tax planning. We look forward to the time when the COVID pandemic eases so we can return to having a physical meeting again as this has been an excellent benefit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gina from NZ US Tax Specialists Ltd was extremely professional in processing my US tax return. I approached her to do my US taxes as someone who normally does a very simple return every year while living and working in New Zealand. Last year my circumstances were considerably different making it a very confusing return to do myself. I called Gina within a couple of weeks of the US tax deadline asking for help - during the busiest time of the year for her. Despite this, she responded promptly, allayed my concerns, asked all the right questions and completed my return all before the tax deadline. I highly recommend her services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm a US/NZ citizen living in NZ since 1981. I have worked and paid taxes in NZ since that date. I have not had any income in the US since 1980. I had not filed a US tax return since 1980 believing that it was not necessary as I now lived, worked and paid taxes in NZ. I was shocked to learn that as a result of a US inheritance in 2010 I would not only have to file a US tax return for that year, but that I would have to become IRS compliant which meant having to submit the previous 6 years returns. This created a very stressful situation. I reached out to Gina at NZ-US Tax Specialists. Gina calmly reassured me that her company would bring my IRS requirements up to date, file 6 years worth of US returns, and continue to provide excellent professional services to me on an annual basis. I have been impressed with Gina's professionalism and excellent communication skills. I will continue to rely on and recommend NZ-US Tax Specialists for all US tax return preparation.
