★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re after something a bit different in Ponsonby, PLEASE check these guys out! Our table raced to clear our plates because everything was so damn good. I don’t think I’ve ever had lamb ribs like what they served, I could probably eat the sauce forever? Impeccable service and super generous portions, too. These folks deserve our support, so please book a table!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little gem at the end of Ponsonby Road. We went for dinner- the dinner menu itself is simple yet well thought out with plenty of drink options and small plates that are good for sharing.
We had the chilli squid, borewors and bunny chow. All were fantastic- the borewors was the best I've had in ages but the chilli squid was hands down the best dish of the night. Would have liked to have tried more but the portion sizes were generous and filling.
The restaurant itself has a neat dining area with a relaxing ambience. Service was wonderful and our server made sure to bring out the appetizers first. Service was efficient, and the server was friendly and professional.
We will definitely be back to try out some more dishes and their lunch menu. Thanks for a lovely evening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great South African food and beer. especially it's backyard is kind cute and cosy. Bunny Chow is top notch...........but a lot to eat by 2 person after having couple of beers and starters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place. Some of the best expresso martinis in Auckland. Staff are are very friendly. We got drinks and nibbles and everything was delicious.
They have an absolutely beautiful outside dinning area.

They were so kind to my partner on his birthday and so incredibly accommodating of my allergy - they walked me through the whole menu and explained which dishes were safe. Couldn't be happier.
