My partner and I were lucky to win a free couples photoshoot with Stephanie. Despite not paying for her services, Stephanie treated us just like any other client, with prompt replies to our emails, sending out a questionnaire to get to know us better, and giving us tips on what to wear/what to expect. She suggested the perfect location for our shoot, and we got to know her over ice cream before heading off to take photos. I was worried about photos looking posed and stiff, but Stephanie gave us fantastic prompts that we were able to interpret ourselves, meaning the photos really captured our relationship dynamic. She was also very relaxed and open which helped us be the same, and made for a great evening. We received a sneak peek the day after the shoot, then a full album about 3 weeks later, full of beautifully edited photos. I would highly recommend Stephanie for anyone looking for a professional yet down to earth photographer for any kind of event, especially couples who might be nervous about the experience like we were. I first met Steph while working at a local cafe, when I first meet her she was easy going and loved a good chat. When she started to pursue Photography I always had it in my mind to try her out when needed. We won a engagement photo shoot with her, (my name was pulled out of the hat). Then we used her 5months later for our wedding. Her enthusiasm and simplicity of capturing moments not just making up shots really helped me and my husband to be natural and enjoy both the photo shoot and our wedding day. Our photos are amazing!!! She is all about the same details which I am too. And learning about the client first really helps set the atmosphere for the shoot. Our wedding day was looking a little bleak with rain just during the ceremony but the photos came out fantastic. The forest like feel and the watery lake all made our day so very special. She captured family moments and the nieces with plates so full we had to laugh. I would highly recommend her.

I highly recommend Stephanie to anyone getting married! From the moment I meet Stephanie, I knew she was going to capture my wedding day perfectly. She cares about all the little details involving your love story! I loved how Stephanie asked me lots of questions to ensure that her photos told our story perfectly. Leading up to the engagement session, my fiancee and I were feeling nervous, but as soon as Stephanie pulled out the camera we felt at ease... she guided us through the whole process and made us feel comfortable and carefree. Leading up to the wedding day Stephanie was super helpful and did everything she could to make our day stressfree, which we really appreciated. On the day she was amazing and captured every moment perfectly. We feel so lucky to have gotten to work with her and we LOVE our wedding photos! I had heard about Stephanie from friends and I was so excited to win a couple photo shoot with Stephanie in early 2020. Due to Covid and life circumstances, the shoot had to be postponed and we eventually were able to do it a couple of months ago. Stephanie was so understanding and considerate throughout everything. It felt like we were friends right from the first email! I was so impressed by the way she communicated with us - Often, I would think "I need to email her about..." and before I had a moment to email her, she would send me one with all the information that I was wondering about. She has a great understanding of what clients are nervous about, excited about or not sure about. She gave me help with picking out outfits and gave me lots of ideas about what the shoot could look like. Leading up to the session, we were given a questionnaire about our relationship. This helped her to get to know us, however we found this to be a really lovely opportunity to reflect on our relationship as well. We found this questionnaire to be fun to answer and helped us to see how we have grown as a couple and what our dreams for the future are. It was really cool! The session itself was so fun! I was surprised by how fun it was. We were not just doing lots of poses but were doing fun activities that made my boyfriend and I laugh and connect with each other. The photos that we received back were so genuinely us and captured the reality of what our relationship is. Stephanie was really good at directing the shoot and had lots of ideas of activities we could do or topics we could discuss - this was amazing as we are "quality time and words of affirmation" people. We really enjoyed the shoot! When we received the photos, we were really excited. They were really lovely and captured who we are as a couple in a really special way. She seems to capture moments and not just take photos. Also, there was quite a large selection of photos to choose from as well which was nice because she let us decide what we like, rather than just send through ones that she liked (Or she just had lots of them!). I really liked this as there were lots of moments that she captured that were particularly special to me. I would 100% recommend Olive and Sage Photography! Stephanie is really good at communicating, capturing and providing special opportunities to not only express who you are as a couple but to grow closer together.
