★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve never experienced such a lack of manners in my life. I’ve come here 5 times in the last month and I will not be coming back.
They always over charge, their items are over priced and to make things worse multiple items I have purchased have been expired.
I now make the effort to drive to the Matakana shops from Omaha and this superette is disrespectful.
They should be ashamed of themselves.
My partner became ill after eating their food. Unsure if it was their lack of hygiene (coughing without covering their mouths) or the poor food quality.
Stay away from this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You expect to pay slightly more at a "rural" dairy ($5 for a bag of ice). These guys however engage in daylight robbery, quite literally: they swipe the products twice, round up the pricing (one comment was to the nearest $10), doesn't give change readily (we had to comment on change owed to 3 young girls). With a few people in short proximity while watching a surf race, it was amazing how many people had a story to share. Check the prices folks, request receipts....

Have been in 3 times over the past 6 weeks - staff never smile and are not particularly friendly. And twice I have been overcharged and have had to point that out to them. No apology, just "oh I charged you for too many"
Good selection of product, but overpriced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "Buyers Beware" Don't try to swindle a seasoned traveller Omaha Beach Superette! Fortunately this doesn't usually happen in NZ because most people are honest here. I just experienced a well known technique to rob purchasers (usually tourists) at this store. I selected a small roll of sticky tape - there were two different types (both brands unknown) - the price on the box was $2.30. I took it up to the guy on the till who plugged in $3.99. I told him it was $2.30 he goes to area (I follow him) he said "that brand is $3.99" and proceeds to remove the brand from the box" I say "so where is this brand on the shelf" holding up the tape. Surprise surprise - its not there. So he says "On this occasion I'll give it to you for the other price". My answer - "Yes you will!"
