What an interesting few hours we spent here. Loved the WWI section especially. The history & stories of the people & planes was amazing. We learnt so much. Staff were helpful & sure knew the history of the planes.

Amazing, went to both exhibits. Highly recommend you do both if you do go there. Need to allow at least 2hrs so have time to take in all the information and see all the interesting WW1 and WW2 displays. Hard to believe people flew the planes you see!!! Peter Jackson has certainly added to the impact.

Very fascinating aviation museum with an extensive collection of war memorabilia and artefacts. The planes and their settings left me awestruck. Would recommend going to both exhibits. The Stalingrad experience was intense and may not be suitable for people who are sensitive to loud sounds, and/or being in the dark, however it does warn you of that before you go in. I thought it was well done. Special mentions to Peter Banks and Peter Jolly for sharing stories and information about the planes.

Amazing place to harness one's love for aviation history and to pay respects to the brave men and women of WW1 and WW2. The guides (Thank you Maurice) are extremely knowledgeable and have many stories to share.

Two separate exhibitions for WW1 and WW2. Planes and memorabilia are stunningly displayed in awesome tableaus. Plenty of historical and mechanical information plus human interest stories. Lovely little cafe and curio shop too.

OMG the best museum ever. It was great, there are no words to describe how it leaves you feeling or even wondering how they do it. Well I do as my mum did it on a much smaller scale but this place you have to see before you leave this planet. Both WW1 and WW2 areas take you to another zone.

This is an astonishing collection of rare aircraft from the first and second world wars. The aircraft are preserved & maintained to such a high standard that some are even airworthy. You can actually see the development of aircraft technology and design features through the years. In addition, there are accounts of pilots on all sides of the conflicts, exhibits of actual uniforms, medals and equipment. There are staff on hand to give detailed explanations and technical information. Well worth the entrance fee - highly recommended!
