I have been an OPSM customer (in another city) in the past, so I had no hesitation walking in when I saw the brand to get my frames tightened.
My prescription is very high, and I could barely see what the optician was doing. She put the frames in some sort of machine and kept glancing away to talk to her colleague.
I got them returned very smudged (or so I thought) - yet more poor customer service -, but only later when I looked at them more closely under the light I saw concentric scratches evenly and densely on the surface of both lenses. I couldn't believe it - because of my prescription, my lenses are very expensive, and I've been careful to take care of them. They weren't even that old, and I didn't expect to have to replace them for a few years.
I walked to their competitor to try to understand what had happened. Apparently, no care was taken when exposing the lenses to high heat.
I have lodged a complaint with OPSM's head office, as I have no desire to deal with this store again. It's absolutely unacceptable, and an appalling way to get new customers - by damaging their existing glasses?!

The whole experience was brilliant. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the total cost was surprisingly inexpensive.
I will most definitely be going back, OPSM is going to be my go to store for all things glasses. ?????

I found the whole experience incredibly easy and hassle free. The staff were brilliant and made sure I was getting the very best value possible when it came to buying the glasses.
I can honestly say that this is my favourite store ever. The staff make you feel incredibly welcome and the store itself was very modern and very tidy with lots of space to browse completely hassle free.
It has to be said that this whole experience was a lot less expensive than what I had expected. I doubt very much that there could be a better store than OPSM Invercargill.
