★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love visiting Orakei Basin. There is car parking here with walking access to the parking with great views from the carpark and an excellent opportunity to take photos. Orakei Basin walkway is close to the carpark and there are places to rest and enjoy the view around the edge of the basin. A very romantic place to visit with your partner. A safe place for boating and water-skiing. There is a boat ramp and a marine jetty. The flush times for the basins salt water are available on the internet. A great place to enjoy a romantic summer day with your partner. There are restaurants and amenities near to the entrance way to the Orakei Basin. The carpark currently opens at 7am and closes at 9pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A carpark with access to the boat ramp and the Orakei Basin walkway. There are two sides with limited parking. The entrance is a tight road with an area that only fits one car at a time. A small portion of the walkway goes through the parking lot and up the road.
