A1 Onehunga Towing Services Ltd trading as OTS Vehicle and Machinery Transport Specialists is a 3rd generation family owned business which has been operating for more than 50 years. OTS is one of Auckland’s well recognised brands in the vehicle & machinery transport and storage Industry. In 2011 OTS expanded its machinery transport services into Hamilton, Tauranga, Hawkes Bay, Wellington and Christchurch to meet its customers needs. In 2016 we expanded our Christchurch operation to offer a full range of vehicle towing and transport services, including roadside breakdowns and accident assistance. In 2017 OTS joined Bus Truck Recovery, Denos Towing and Hilton Haulage to form the South Island Recovery Alliance to jointly provide vehicle recovery services to the Canterbury Police from North Canterbury through to Timaru.
At OTS we provide quality, cost effective, on-demand, transport and storage services to customers in New Zealand. OTS’s competitive advantage has been quality of service, integrity, leadership in lifting the standards of the industry and early adoption of GPS positioning and tracking technology. OTS employs over 75 staff members and operates 55 transporters designed and commissioned to meet the demands of a diverse portfolio of customers. We can transport anything from racecars and motorbikes to motor homes, caravans, boat trailers and machinery up to 25 ton to anywhere in the North Island and South Island.
OTS’s customer portfolio consists of a variety of customers from the General Public needing help when they have broken down or have locked their keys in their car to supplying a fully tailored service as the preferred service provider to corporate customers, such as Automobile Association, Hirepool, AB Equipment, AA Insurance and Capital Smart.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The AA sent Steve B from OTS to pick up my vehicle. I was stuck in a very tight spot on the Southern Motorway Northbound in spaghetti junction at morning rush hour. Steve was great with his communication, and then he also made the right call from a safety perspective. He is clearly interested in having happy customers back on their way but he didn't let that get in the way of getting the right people involved and taking the right approach to ensure I was recovered without the risk of a collision. He was then super friendly and made sure me and my vehicle got where they needed to get. It was a bad start to my day but Steve did everything right.

Elam was exceptionally professional, kind, calming and has fantastic communication skills. It was a pleasure to have his transport my vehicle. He was a safe and confident driver who actually enjoys his job. Well done ! Thank you so much Elam ! Great guy !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AA sent Elam to collect our Van. We didn't know what was wrong with it and the AA guy said it was the radiator... Elam checked it thoroughly and in the end he fixed it!! He was sooo kind and helpful. He explained us what the problem was and how to avoid it taking some precautions.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐5 starts for him ??????!!!
1 star for the AA guy ? (and that 1 star it's just because he sent Elam ?)
