I was 6 weeks pregnant and had some light bleeding so I was sent here to get a scan to confirm if I was having a miscarriage or not. They told me it was a failed pregnancy (miscarriage) after going through my scans. Fast forward two unbearable heartbreaking weeks where I mourned for a dead baby still inside me (hadn’t bled out the clot yet), I was sent to the hospital to have the procedure to get the clot surgically removed. The doctor on at the women’s hospital said my scans (the ones from pacific radiology) were off and he could not actually say it was a failed pregnancy so I was sent for another scan to confirm. Turns out I have a very healthy baby in me. It has been two months now and no one from pacific radiology has even sent a simple β€œI’m sorry for the two weeks of hell we put you through by not reading your scans correctly”. I can understand human error even at this magnitude, but an apology would have been the right thing to do. I would not recommend Pacific Radiology for anything to do with baby scans.

The phone staff were friendly & helpful & the women on reception were pleasant as well. The place was easy to find on Leinster St & was basically able to park easily at the gate. The buildings were well marked, interior nice, had a water cooler in the waiting room & patients didnt have to wait long. I have the highest praise for the person who i dealt with for my CT scan. I have had hundreds of blood tests before and this experience was incredible as there was no pain, in fact i had to ask if the needle was in, so some serious mad skills there :o) Without wanting to invade anyones privacy the lady i had began with an "O" & she made the whole possibly stressful situation quite kool! Not often you can say that in a hospital/medical situation which is why i decided to say it myself.

My wife had her 19 weeks anatomy pregnancy ultrasound scan at St. George's Hospital Christchurch. The technician was very mechanical and was only interested in doing the absolute minimum as if she was in a rush. We requested some 3D scans which she only did because we asked for it and when we were not satisfied with the 3D images (3 which were blurred) she was not patient or interested in redoing them. My wife and I was very disappointed with the level of service. We even complained to the staff at reception. There was no attempt to rectify the situation and it left us with such a sour experience when it should have been a very happy and exciting time for us.

POor Communication. I had my OPG done November 20,2020.I have no updates, up until today it never reached my dentist which defeats the purpose of having it done. In every results sent they should call to confirm if it has been received. Now, everyone is pinpointing where the results went and everytime.i call, they will look at my notes and sort it out, so how long will i have to call everyday for them to sort it out. Now my tooth is starting to ache and my dentist needs to assess whether he can extract it or if it needs a surgeon. A certain Corey sent me an email of the results with no image and told me he rang the dental clinic as well but i have received an emaim from them rhat when they rang they have no.records of my results. Who is telling the truth? Very poor communication and it jeopardises the clients especially for those who needs the results asap.

Great reception team absolutely wonderful lady’s! How ever the women who preformed my pregnancy scan was rather rude and rough despite being told the pressure hurt I now have bruising on my belly. Also told us her thoughts on gender despite the fact she said it β€œmight be a ........ I think” if you are unsure get a second opinion! I honestly wanted to get up and walk out at that point I’m so let down by all of this. I will be going for a second opinion on gender despite the fact it’s going to cost more money that I should not have to spend!.

I found the staff member who phoned me to confirm my appointment day and time very friendly, as was the receptionist on my arrival. I could not speak more highly of the staff member who operated the MRI procedure or of his assistant.
