Almost 20 years ago we began as a small psychology firm in the Manawatu working solely in the area of pain management. Today, we work not only with pain-related problems, but with a wide range of psychological issues. While our core team is still based in Palmerston North, we have expanded nationally to a much larger network of skilled professionals who can provide services in most of the main centers throughout New Zealand.
Our aim is to offer the best assistance possible to those wanting help with issues that are causing them physical and/or psychological distress. We can assist with rehabilitation for those who have suffered injuries (especially head injuries), amputations, back pain, Chronic Regional Pain, headaches, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and muscle pain, as well as the psychological impact of pain on daily life. We also use a wide range of psychological approaches designed to provide mental and emotional relief. Sometimes we will use cutting edge technologies such as biofeedback and neurofeedback, where appropriate, that enable treatment to be more effective in a shorter time.
We are able to work with families, couples and individuals, the elderly and the young, and also have staff who are skilled in cross cultural work.
