About Papamoa Kindergarten
Inspired Kindergartens and Home Based Education – Ngā Kōhungahunga Manawanui - offers quality early childhood education to over 1300 children through its network of 25 kindergartens and home based education services.
We have kindergartens between Whangamata in the north and Murupara in the south-east while our home based services operate between Whitianga and Taupō.
Formerly known as Tauranga Region Kindergartens, we are one of New Zealand's largest and longest serving early childhood education providers.
We are a not for profit community based organisation governed by an elected Board. We are developing the bi-cultural relationship established by Aotearoa/New Zealand's founding document Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Our staff of more than 200 includes a 100% qualified and registered early childhood teacher workforce. It's one of the many things that makes us unique.
We believe early learning is a partnership with parents and whānau. Together we want to engage young children in authentic learning experiences with the space, freedom and care that builds self-confidence, independence and individuality.

Fun and safe environment for play. 1of my children has been through and we loved it so much our youngest is already on the list to attend when he's 3. Highly recommended to those looking for a great start for their kids.

At the start she was so anxious but the teaching team went above and beyond to help her settle in. Now that she started school they are still supporting her to make the transition into Primary School easy. A HUGE thank you again to the awesome team for not only supporting my little girl but also at times supported me. You ladies are the best.

So caring and welcoming and they do a fantastic job of teaching, encouraging and engaging the kids in their interests and a very wide range of subjects. The set up and play areas are wonderful too with lots of trees and bushes and grass areas. There is a strong focus on the environment and looking after it...with fruit and veges growing, chickens, a worm farm and recycling etc. My son loves going to kindy and my daughter cant wait to join him there. I really cant say enough about it and recommend you pop in for a visit.
