As from 1 July 2022, KΔpiti Coast District Libraries will no longer be charging fines on overdue library items. In addition, all past overdue fines will be waived.
We’ve done this to ensure everyone has fair and equitable access to information, reading, learning and connections to their communities.

β β β β β Great library! Good layout with places to read indoors and outdoors with a nice cafe attached. Also, itβs air conditioned! Great selection of books overall; I was specifically looking for architecture and design books, and was pleasantly surprised by the selection.

β β β β β The thing that I enjoy most about the Library is how the librarians treat the youngest readers. Soo genuinely interested and attentive! Love it!
Overall, keen focus on kids, including a spacious reading zone, good selection of books and even an outdoor playground!
Top tips: you can borrow a book here and return it to the library in Paekakariki or Waikanae and vice versa.
