The staff here are often rude and unfriendly. So many friends in Te Puke have had negative experiences with the grumpy staff here. Very disappointing. We go to Papamoa Pathlab instead to avoid their unfriendliness.

Very partial staff. I waited for 50 mins and they were taking the patiens they know. Not fair.. I had to start my job but these things doesn't matter to them busy in talking and waisting time. Even other patients who were waiting were also frustrated. I think we should take this matter further.

Rude staff, long wait times. I don't understand if you're doing a urine test why you need to wait behind everyone doing bloods? The staff don't help with urine tests and they won't even hear you out if tell them you're not there to do bloods.

Can’t think of her name but she has been great with giving my blood test every day to check my heart. She’s very caring and understanding.

I went down for a blood test this morning, from the onset this particular nurse was very short with me. While in the room I tried to explain my veins weren’t overly good , she shut me down saying I should let her do her job. She was very rough with me,not being able to get blood from either arm, saying I’m supposed to drink more water, I was feeling sick by this point also suffering with a chest infection. She managed to find a vein in my hand, still being rough and blunt with me. On my drive home I noticed a large lump coming up on my hand. On phoning the lab was advised to put pressure on it and an ice pack, was told an incident report would be put in. I’m very upset an feel this nurse should be stood down. An apology would be nice too

Visits since this incident and contact from Pathlab indicate that this problem has been resolved. Good work Pathlab and I am pleased the grouch has become so helpful. My wife visited here about 11AM 16.07.2021 There were two staff on. One was incredibly rude from the outset. My wife tried to say she had an appointment but the woman kept aggressively telling her to sit down, not giving her a chance to speak. My wife felt humiliated and intimidated. There has been a similar incident with the same woman once before. The other lady on that took the blood test was lovely. We will never return, though I did consider driving up to give her a piece of my mind.

I had some blood test last Friday and found everyone to be lovely! I think the lady I saw was named Delys. She was friendly and patient. I barely felt it. She answered all my many questions and my results came back quickly.
