★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is without a doubt my favourite cake shop in Christchurch (and of any I've visited in different cities/countries too!) Beautiful, beautiful delicate cakes, sold by the slice or you can order a full cake to pick up (sometimes they have some whole cakes in the cabinet for spur of the moment cake needs too). Their biscuits on the counter are SO good too - in wee packs to take away with you.
Yahagi do coffee and hot chocolate too, and have two wee tables for pairs to dine in and sit for a chat.
