Peter Johnston has been operating in Hawke’s Bay for over 30 years. The business began by Peter Johnston himself, and his wife Alison. Ash and his wife Sharni purchased the business in 2016.
As owners of the local business, we strive to provide our customers with high quality service and delivery with a smile. We focus on relationships and aim to have high standards of our communication with our suppliers and customers.
With continued consolidation in the industry, Peter Johnston Distributors is now one of the few remaining independent distributors in the New Zealand. Ash will continue to ensure the independence of Peter Johnston Distributors within the Hawke’s bay area for years to come.

We are very flexible and willing to accommodate our customers’ individual needs, be it specific goods or urgent deliveries.
Ordering
Our website allows you to order online, or you can email your orders to [email protected] or give us a call! Our delivery is free for regular customers and orders over $30. Our shop also is open to the public Monday to Friday, 8am-12oon.
