★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought some of their chocolates at the French Festival. Oh, they were absolutely yum! The staff at the counter was very polite, friendly and had some really good customer service skills. These gourmet chocolates were made with care! Wish I had bought more. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit their store to buy more! :) Cheers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great experience for Philippe’s. They made me a croquembouche for a 30th birthday. They were very responsive and easy to deal with, and the croquembouche was delicious and looked amazing. Would recommend for any special occasion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Weird selection of items. I had the ham and cheese croissant. Croissant itself was good but mozzarella is weird, as is folding ham and placing it In the claws whilst sneaking a covert slice of tomato between the ham blankets. If I was French I’d be vaguely offended.
The next time I tried to buy something the guy in front was flexing hard. I gave up waiting after about 5 minutes of his asking after items and making selections when he decided to explain that he knew just a little French (in French) to the person behind the counter, which had an air of 5 more minutes to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The team at Phillepes chocolate do amazing pastries. Today I sampled the blueberry danish and the almond croissant with frangipani filing. It feels as if you take a trip to France and the owners have mountains of experience in patisserie.
It doesn’t get more authentic than this!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little local place. Interesting, and creative chocolate flavours. Top tier pastries. Used to have amazing chocolate sculptures. Maybe one day again! Good coffee. Parking is a little difficult as you will have to go on one of the side streets but it def worth visiting this little hidden gem. ?
