β β β β β I was seen in the Ohakune office, a modern yet cosy set-up right in the heart of the town centre. Having made an appointment only a couple of days prior, I was met by Maisie, my physiotherapist, and brought straight into the sole room, which had the advantage of making the whole session both private and uninterrupted.
After a quick consult where I explained the nature of my injury and prior treatment I'd had for it, Maisie had me on the bed and immediately identified what was causing the pain and stiffness, and helped to alleviate that tension. She was understandably unimpressed with how long I had left the issue, and gave me several exercises which I was instructed to perform with strict frequency, and having done so regularly now for a couple of weeks now, I can attest to their effectiveness.
Overall, a highly professional service which has left me with much more movement and practically eliminated the pain. I only wish I had done it sooner!
