History/Background
Physio Direct began when founder Amy Cram realized that many small rural areas in New Zealand do not have an adequate physiotherapy service. Everyone should have the right to health services and bringing physiotherapy to these small communities has allowed this to happen.
Having grown up on a dairy farm in Ngongotaha on the outskirts of Rotorua, Amy understands the physical demands of a rural life. By bringing a physiotherapy service to these smaller rural areas, Physio Direct is able to offer these communities physiotherapy at THEIR doorstep. This allows people to been seen locally and stops long distance travel when time is already a limited factor. A lot of rural people put up with pain and discomfort, and now with Physio Direct operating in rural regions, they no longer need to.
