β β β β β Small town. Ship Seabourn Encore stopped here. Nice place to visit but very small town. Lot of hiking trails and predator free park. Very very scenic. Very friendly people everywhere. Enjoyed the stop here

β β β β β Small coastal town with ample options for food and accommodations. One of the ferry gateways to the North Island through the Sound. A jaw-dropper just like the rest of the country.

β β β β β Entering the boat in the heavy rain is poorly organised, there is no covered air bridge. Stuff is nice, there are lots of cafes and informal seats spotted, which make people very relaxed.

β β β β β Picton's waterfront offers a picturesque place to picnic, play & observe ferries & ships coming & going. Lots of lovely eateries, museums, shops & a big playground for children. Parking is good and close to waterfront attractions. Public rest rooms are clean and well serviced.

β β β β β What a beautiful way to go from North Island to South Island (or vice a versa). We did the upgrade lounge that served food and beverage, outstanding. Truly enjoyed wandering to each deck and took many photographs. The water had such beautiful color. Easy load in Wellington and unload in Picton.

β β β β β Lovely laid back place where you can spend couple of days exploring surroundings area. Its a place where you want to regroup before you dive into next strip of holidays. Every scenery is breathtaking near the surrounding hilltops! One can spend the whole day only by enjoying the magnificent view.
