★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOF & full service & a FAIL! on dirty windscreen wipers, lights out of alignment, front park lights not working & a passengers headrest missing! (Yet never a phone call) and paying for a full service!!!!!!!!, no light bulbs replaced, already has near new wipers??? (so easy for them) Told to go clean them! what a complete rip off and lack of customer service. Rating 000000000

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ fitting of tow bar. after having to fight for a courtesy car and appointment for 8,30am as told work would take 5 hours (so 1.30pm in theory) finally got car at 3.45pm and with round trip of 3 hours made for a very long day hanging around. no apology or explanation and large bill. i suggest customers go elsewhere if possible

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After failing a wof at vtnz I took my paperwork with the repairs needed to Pit Stop Kerikeri. They read it and said they could complete all necessary repairs. I booked in and dropped my car off a couple of days later. I received a call late in the day to say it was ready. When I got there I was told they couldn’t fix one of the lights and I’d have to take it elsewhere. I did this and the lightbulb was changed / fixed within 15 minutes. I will also add, that the repairs cost around $1000 at Pit Stop.
I returned to vtnz only to be failed on the brakes (again) due to them being uneven when the brakes were applied (dangerous). So I went back to Pit Stop who complained that vtnz didn’t know what they were talking about! They agreed to have another look at the brakes so my car was booked in again for 3 days later. I picked the car up later that day and was horrified that they charged me again for fixing what should have been done properly the first time!
I would never recommend this place to anyone! Go somewhere else!

Low rating as they didn’t bother to call me about the additional work, and checking if I was OK with paying the price before changes were made. e.g. The new tyres that were put on. I was completely gobsmacked. Paying twice the expected fee that I wasn’t aware of until arrival. Don’t get ripped off!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived and explained that we had a flat tyre which had been repaired with foam as it was a new hybrid. Mel the receptionist was really helpful as were all the staff. They fixed the problem straight away and at a reasonable price. We would definitely recommend this shop. Thanks to you all
