About PlumbQuick
Plumbquick was formed by directors Steve Frogley and Grant Syminton in 1997. Each director is a Craftman Plumber who has successfully ran their own respective plumbing companies for 24 years previously. They bring together an expansive knowledge of the industry.
The company is fully licensed and insured up to $10m.
Plumbquick is capable of taking on all types of plumbing work from large commercial to small one hour jobs. This also includes blocked drains, backflow installation and testing, safe and sanitary inspections and gas fitting. The recognition of the market's needs and the management direction plus a focus on customer service has helped the company to flourish over the last 18 years.

My phone number was recorded wrong and despite my requesting to send someone after midday so that I could be available apparently a plumber came in prior to my being at home. They had the number wrong so never contacted me for their promised thirty minutes heads up. After waiting until 4pm with no one turning up, called the contact centre and found out that they had my number wrong and someone had already been and left! The lady tried her best to be helpful but it was frustrating not to get this sorted as I had to take time off work. The hot water cylinder connecter burst later that night and they had to come in urgently to fix it. At the end of it all I was billed a whopping $355 for a ten minute job that was messed up at their end and I did not even receive an apology or follow up call for their poor management and unprofessionalism. Very very disappointed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an emergency and they couldn't fit me in the same day so made a firm appointment for first thing the next day. When no-one had showed up by about 10:30 I called and was told that they would try to fit me in that day but no guarantees - they were very busy and were not sure if they would be able to come. We had no water at all so needless to say I found another plumber who fixed the problem straight away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maybe they should be called Plumb Slow. Communication is absolutely dreadful, they say they will turn up on a certain day and just don't with no explanation or communication of why and when their next visit might be. Head Office is appalling, giving assurances that just aren't met. And then there are the supply chain issues, be prepared to wait a VERY long time for any bathroom cabinet fitting. One of the most unprofessional outfits I've dealt with for some time. Appalling service all round and they certainly aren't the cheapest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had blocked drains. PlumbQuick arrived on time to assess. Explained clearly what the problem was and what the repair would entail. Reece arrived at exactly time I was told the next day to replace broken drain. Very polite helpful young man who quickly got on with the job and did an excellent clean up of the site. Would thoroughly recommend PlumbQuick.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At first impressions, seemed professional and promising. But after numerous consultation and constant runaround ended up delivering nothing. Seems like there is a disconnect between Head office and people who answer the phone. Plumber who we worked with new his stuff but lacked ability to take our initial advice and ended up reneging on what he was going to do, after we had make arrangements for alternative accommodation. Hope they improve aspects of their service this year. Have to now look elsewhere for professional and honest advice and service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a leak under my driveway and needed accurate leak detection as I had to cut through 15cm of concrete to get to it. Half a metre off would mean hours of extra labour for me. I got Plumb Quick in to detect the location of the leak. After trying for a few minutes I was told that the concrete is too thick to accurately detect and I was given, what I would call a “best guess” location. The best guess was off my 1.5 to 2 metres which resulted in me having to cut through concrete multiple times before finding the actual leak.
If the detection equipment is not accurate through a concrete driveway, they should make this known to their customer up front before booking the appointment and allow the customer the choice on whether to still go head or not.
After discovering the leak was at least 1.5 to 2m from the actual leak, I complained to them, requesting we negotiate the fee. I was happy to pay for the advice I was given, but not the full amount, as the leak detection was not accurate. They ignored my request and told me the invoice stands.
If only I had looked at these reviews beforehand…
