About Plus Rehab CHB
Pinc and Steel was the result of pioneering force Lou James, physiotherapist, on the basis of developing a world-class program for cancer survivorship, committed to supporting and treating people affected by any type of cancer, through all stages of their treatment and recovery. The effects of cancer treatments such as surgery, endocrine, radiation and chemotherapy can lead to unwanted side effects leading to a negative impact on quality of life. Our certified Pinc and Steel physiotherapist is trained to help reduce fatigue, pain, weakness, stiff joints and joint pain. We provide everything from individualised physiotherapy and exercise prescription to specialised group exercise classes and can help you apply for assistance with funding these treatments.
Cardiovascular exercise has been proven to reduce the recurrence and incidence of cancer. The Next Steps class is a group exercise class consisting of a combination of stretching, strengthening, pilates, cardio and relaxation. This class runs during the school term and is a great way to kick start your journey from illness to wellness.
