Plenty of room. Parking good.... But, more boat ramps needed due to, often quees of cars and boats. Sometimes, the overflow car, boat trailer, too far away is needed

The council should reduce there charges for trailer parking,we already pay massive rates.

Great place for a walk all the way to the entrance to the New Plymouth, many interesting fisher people catching of sorts of fish. Neat place to be watching a storm breaking on the breakwater, but be in scenario and stay in the carpark, the waves could knock you over and onto rocks on the southern side. Some great cafes and restaurants close by plus shops etc

Good amenities plenty of parking and well maintained Port staff more than happy to help you out if you get stuck etc. Can't thank them enough for pulling out Dad's trailer totally buried in sand using their Heavy tow machinery.

What a great spot for fishing, walking, watching. Fisher people of all ages parked up on both sides. With the wanderers able to walk or wheel down the middle. Lots of marine activity, schools of sprats at top of the water and bigger fish zipping past under them. A cargo ship left the port, jet skis, family boats coming and going. The chatter from the little kids just added to the environment. Sooo good.

The storm that went through was so strong it threw rocks up and destroyed the surface. Normally it's a really busy fishing ramp and happening place. In heavy seas it's really exhilarating to walk along the Lee breakwater with the waves and sea spray.
