★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gates make the beach area safe for users and gates protect the ports. The information about the beach and landing history is just above the gates. The coastal walkway ends here and the working Port called Port Taranaki takes over.
I am sure children would like to see the big boats and machinery.Water is still very clean and clear on the day we visited
