About PowerFit NZ
Having been actively involved in strength-training and powerlifting for over 25 years, I have worked and trained and many gyms using strength training equipment (of various and sometime dubious quality). With the increase in busy lifestyles I saw the need for good quality free-weights and equipment for the home and commercial user, at the most competitive prices.
I have had a life-long passion for strength training starting at the age of fourteen, and completing personal training qualifications in my late teens. I have also been an active member of the NZPF (NZ Powerlifting Federation) for over 25 years an am currently the Waikato/BOP president. Now busier than ever with a young family I filled my garage with equipment for a home gym (which I train in 3-4 times a week).
