★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Less than a week into lockdown with a toddler, on a Sunday night my hot water cylinder blew! Pratt’s not only answered the phone (unlike some competitors) they had guys out the following day and had the old one removed and new one installed within a couple of hours. They were so professional considering we were in lockdown (wore masks, gloves, kept more than 2m etc). I absolutely recommend them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I traveled from Hamilton to Otorohanga to redecorate and put a new wall and vanity unit in her bathroom and a staff member from this company Pratts Otorohanga overcharged my niece by $900 to have two polythene pipes attached in her bathroom for the tap fitting of her new vanity unit I installed I even helped the staff member weld the pipe to fit the tap fittings and connect to the existing water hoses then I put the new giboard up to accommodate the new hole for the new hoses and tap fitting I plastered the wall and the plumber attached the new faucet for the vanity and and left and was to return the next day with the plug for the sink because the manufacturer of the vanity unit did not supply a plug for the handbasin he did not return for nearly two weeks then he informed myself and my niece that he had installed the faucet upside down so I had to cut a new hole in the wall I had just plastered and painted two weeks earlier then we had to wait 3 more days which was a Sunday when he returned to bring a used piece of gibboard to fix the whole I had to cut in the new wall because he had to change the pipe settings as well to accommodate for the new correct position of the faucet and hose attachments. Unbelievable? When my niece questioned the price invoiced all the company offered to do was reduce her bill by $100? Daylight robbery at its finest how can the plumber and company live with themselves? Disgusting behavior on there part no excuse.

I need my caravan adapted slightly to be self contained certified.
Had no idea what was involved and arranging for a plumber to come out and check to see.I was told that I needed to pay $150 for the call out to just look at the job.
Not knowing any better I agreed an paid.
The person came and ticked a few thi gs off on a form that needed doing and left.
They subsequently have since sent a quote for nearly $4000 to get the job done(had a quote for $1500 elsewhere)and then sent an invoice for $333 charging me above the agreed call out fee.For what they said was 3hrs labour???
Absolute lies.And extortion.
Never use them.
