β β β β β Carried out unnecessary work on parts that were clearly not reusable ! I took the engine parts to another engine builder and they told me at a glance it was not worth rebuilding yet precision regrinds spent hours stripping every last nut and bolt from the engine and charged me hours of labour at over $100 per hour .... then after picking up the engine their were parts missing ...

Dishonest and untrustworthy, very disappointed with them and have lost faith in using their business again.

β β β β β If you want a diagnosis with any sort of guarantee do not use these people. Twice they tested my 1KZ head and twice said it was fine and suggested the block was at fault. I got a new block and problem was not fixed. Problem was head. They didnβt care, were not fazed that their advice and diagnosis was off, took no responsibility and were arrogant and rude towards my mechanic and tried to make out to me that the mechanic was out of his depth. I have now learnt that 1KZ heads are notoriously hard to diagnosis and once any overheating has occurred they need replacing - All other engine specialists throughout the country that I have spoken to have said this. These people knew head had overheated. They never once suggested a replacement head.
I get things can be hard to diagnosis β however, in this situation it was also the attitude of βdidnβt give *hit about the customerβ. Good business practice could have seen them offering a discount on a new head. The mechanic had used them many times previously but customer loyalty seemed to mean nothing to them. Mechanic will never use or recommend them again. Me neither. I had previously used them β not that they remembered this. I asked for a refund, which is when they tried to discredit my mechanic and minimize their lack of integrity. I have contacted MTA.

β β β β β What exceptional customer service! I had an emergency and Jens came to the rescue, he not only took the part away and made it better than before, he did it all in under a day. And gave some good advice too.
