★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a 2006 VW Golf GTI (MK5) from here two weeks ago. David Carter was very helpful and accomodating when it came to getting questions. However, I was a little bit sad that I didn't get the VW bottle opener that came with the car, but thats just me nitpicking :P

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a Subaru Levorg from here. I was stoked with the car and price. Once I had driven it back to Taranaki I discovered an issue with the driver wing mirror. It took a painful discussion about how to resolve the issue and I ended up taking it back to Wellington so "Thier" tech could sort the issue for me. They gave me the crappiest courtesy car which I felt unsafe taking my 4 year old son in. The issue was resolved and I got my car back, 3 days later... Only to get to Levin for it to fail. The tech said he'd chase it up and I haven't heard from anyone since (a month later). Shop around and go somewhere else. The customer service and aftercare is horrid. If your vehicle has an issue it then becomes a major pain in the rear... And they possibly won't be able to fix it anyway. Buy somewhere else. They're just lucky I got the car I wanted and can't be bothered dealing with them anymore. I scrubbed their advertising off my plates...which made me feel less bitter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely the worst possible experience with Priceright cars.
Pre-sale experience was fine, friendly professional non pushy sale.
However, after a few days, we experienced issues with the car. I called Priceright cars right away, expecting the same professional experience in investigating and fixing this issue but Priceright was VERY difficult to deal with. After being very dismissive about the issue on the phone; I ended up getting an independent inspection by a registered VW mechanic at my own cost. The issue was verified along with other noteworthy issues being identified.
I called and spoke to the owner of the company of Priceright cars, who then accused me of "wanting free stuff" and on a separate occasion swore at me on the phone for no given reason and hung up. Our phone call conversations can be verified, so there's no lying about it.
I called back to express my concern and dismay. The owner denied swearing at me and said that i was not welcome back on his car lot, and would call the police if i ever returned to his car lot.
At this stage, Priceright cars had my car for a week on their lot with the vehicle ownership and finance still under my name and now i was told that i was not able to go back and collect it. They had the car longer than i did after purchasing.
After discussing with a colleague of the owner, I managed to get a refund for the broken car..This experience was a complete waste of my time and energy, as well as money spent on the car inspections etc.
I then noticed the car was BACK UP FOR SALE the very next day!!
I do not recommend this car dealership at all, as my experience was very unacceptable. Very aggressive, dishonest and a lack of respect.
Anything this dealer may say in rebuttal can be simply discarded by all the evidence recorded from my dealings.
