About Primo Vino
Meet Henry Jacobs, the owner and founder of Primo Vino. Henry discovered his passion for quality wine whilst he was studying to become a primary school teacher. After 17 years of working as a teacher, Henry decided that it was time to retire from teaching and pursue his passion for wine. This resulted in the creation of Primo Vino, which was founded in November 1996, way back when the New Zealand wine industry was much smaller than it is now.
One of Henry's best skills is his ability to seek out the best quality wines out there and get them in store before they start to win accolades.
