★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted a head, neck, shoulder treatment.. Head and Neck was not massaged.
Therapist seemed to be more interested in texting while I was lying there. Also left the room without any heads up to meet someone and started changing the beds etc while I was putting my clothes on after the treatment.
Not sure if I would be keen to go back after this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like a good massage. I have tried many places but never gave feedback. This place looks nice, good decor and presentation, but the massage was simply basic. Not satisfying at all. I was disappointed at the smell of the linen. Like old armpits. It felt like they simply used the same ones from the previous customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maliwan is exceptional. I have suffered lower back pain, tight hamstrings and knotted shoulders/neck for as long as I can remember. I have tried massage therapy before but this is another level. For the first time in my life I actually think I can be cured of deep seated pain. Maliwan is professionally trained in both Thailand and NZ, and it shows. Don't suffer a day longer. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Made appointment for massage for my husband. Spend long time talking with receptionist who hardly could speak English. On the day of appointment rang them to tell that we running 10 min late. Turned out we don't have any appointment booked!! Terrible! Never come here again waste of time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience the wife and I had at a massage place.
Started off well and very professional. Unfortunately interrupted by masseuses son outside the door forcing the masseuse to leave the room multiple times
Following that, interrupted multiples times including
- multiple phone calls answered in the room while massaging
- masseuses son coming into the room and chatting to her, followed by reading his book for homework which she was providing feedback
- left door open so she could monitor him, then left which allowed him to come into the room and circle the table a couple of times. Made me very uncomfortable and of course not a relaxing experience with multiple disruptions and conversations.
- Despite asking to have some privacy, nothing changed
Then when massage was over, disappeared before able to give any feedback or ask for a refund
Wife had a poor experience where she was poked and prodded for an hour.
Will not be going back and found it to be very unprofessional

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Right from the initial contact I felt confident that this was the place to get the desired results in relation to my injury.
I have only had one massage before and it was not an experience I wish to repeat. I was defiantly a little bit apprehensive going into this one as I had no idea what to expect this time around and my neck and shoulder was in considerable pain.
Well it's now almost been 12hrs since my massage and I can't believe the amount of reduction in pain and how much more relaxed my neck and shoulders are.
I personally couldn't be happier with the attention to detail, the warmth and understanding in relation to the problem I presented with and of course the result of just one visit. Thank you so very much you are amazing and I will definitely be back.
