★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Greatful for the facilities, but could do with more regular cleaning and loo paper top ups, and local Maori wardens and police should monitor these spots, the parents and child room was full of 10-14 year olds swigging hard liquor from glass bottles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited today.the loos were clean, but no toilet paper, no soap....Surprising, as this is not peak time.
The toilets are tired, well overdue for an upgrade. Head on to Taupo instead if you can.
Turangi needs a huge boost to lift it out of the 60s and 70s, and make it an attractive, inviting place.
This would be a good place to start.
